Born from the Field.
Built for It.
Vulture Visual Systems was founded by a team that spent years deploying timelapse cameras on construction and mining sites across Australia — and got tired of the limitations of off-the-shelf gear.

Off-the-Shelf Wasn't
Good Enough
After years of deploying consumer cameras and cobbled-together rigs on remote sites, the frustrations stacked up. Batteries dying in the heat. Enclosures failing in dust storms. No reliable way to check on cameras without driving hours to site. And when a camera went down mid-project, the timelapse was ruined.
We knew there had to be a better way. So we built one.
Every Component.
Purpose-Built.
We started from first principles. Custom PCBs for power management and connectivity. Precision-engineered enclosures designed to survive Australian conditions. Integrated solar charging that actually works. And a cloud platform that lets you manage your entire fleet without leaving your desk.
The result is the Vulture — a fully autonomous timelapse camera system that just works.
How We Got Here
The Frustration Point
After another failed deployment with consumer gear on a remote mining site, we commit to building purpose-built hardware. First sketches and PCB concepts drafted.
First Prototypes
PCB v1 designed and fabricated. First 3D-printed enclosure prototypes tested in the field. Solar charging system validated over a Perth summer.
Field Testing & Iteration
Multiple hardware revisions based on real-world deployment feedback. Cloud platform built and tested. First commercial deployments with select clients.
Full Production
Vulture systems now in full production and deploying across Australia. Hardware v7 refined and production-ready. Cloud platform live with fleet management capabilities.
Our Values
Build it Right
No shortcuts. Every component is designed, tested, and refined until it performs in the toughest conditions.
Reliability First
Our clients depend on these cameras running unattended for months. Reliability isn't a feature — it's the foundation.
Field-First Design
We deploy our own cameras every week. Every design decision is informed by real-world experience, not lab conditions.
